Top CDs of 2009 and 00's

Soooooo, 2009 is coming to its end in a month, and as every year, it's time to choose your favorites records.
But this year, the decade is ending aswell, and everywhere in the musical sphere are tons of "BestAlbumsOfThe2000s" lists.

So I had a look on a few ones, and I have to admit I don't understand shit to any of people's choices. Magazines, boards, websites, everyone is picking quite the same albums, and I feel like I spent the last 10 years on a different planet. Pitchfork have more albums I've never heard of than albums I know in their list.

I couldn't make any top 2000's (I don't remember what I listened the most in 2001, and I bet I'm not alone), but Kid A seems to get everyone's opinion (why not, it makes sense), followed by shitloads of low-fi/indie rock as Animal Collective, Arcade Fire and The Strokes. I would never have picked any of these, but still...

Anyway, here's my Top 10 of 2009. Not much metal this year.

Sooo hard to do. especialyl 00s. This year too, not much came out that I was really excited for, and SOOOO much I let pass by. Last year, and this year I've discovered way too much new music to even know anymore (new to me, alot of old stuff, that is). Im gonna wait and see what others say for best albums of 2000s, before I discuss...especially since I listened to nothing by Classic Rock and thrash from year 2000-2006, only to find melodeath and folk metal and listen to that like a fiend 2006-2008 : / Yeah I was a fagot as a teenager too, eat my shit.

Big stand outs though for 09 were Finsterforst, Amesoeurs, and Incredibad. Will take time.

Just looking at this thread so far reminds me of all the shit I missed.

Meh, a lot of it, isn't all that good. AC/DC is one of the worst fucking bands ever.

Most of it is pretty boring actually, but I still like alot of it. I used to be one of those "all new music is shit" type fags. Kids go to classic rock because they think all music is from the radio or MTV, or in your case MusiquePlus!! or whatever. I know this because I was one, and we were many.

And I totally agree with ACDC, I've never liked them. They have a couple of good songs though.
