Truth about Opeth's albums

Maybe it's me but this thread gives me a headache. Every internet forum is eventually crowded with idiots, that can't stand others opinions. Just ignore them.

If you love Watershed, that's great for you.

there will always be people to fill any niche. there will always be tonnes of fans for bands like opeth. but of all the long-time opeth fans i've spoken to, they are not as satisfied with watershed as they are with previous releases.

Obviously you haven't spoken to me. I've listened to Opeth since Orchid, and I love Watershed. Yes, it's different from the other albums, but I think that's great. It actually makes me excited for and curious about what the next album is going to sound like.

Lol,
I was reading mikes posts just then,
where he's laying down the law.
I stopped for a second and realised i had this huge grin on my face

It was cheesy as mac and.

Anyway,
I listened to watershed for the first time in a while the other day not after seeing this thread either,
It was totally independant,
I loved it.
It was like seeing an old friend down the street and remembering why you were buds.

Id have to say the standout tracks are still Hessian Peel and Burden imo.
