TV Shows

Is Last Kingdom as "excellent" as Vikings? I'm thinking of trying it out.
I gave up on Vikings after the first season, thought it was ridiculous.

Also anyone watches Better Call Saul? The ending of the last season was great.

I tried watching “Hannibal”. It got ssssooooo bad the second season.
That part where Hannibal and Will are in bed together with Alana....Huh? I turned it off.

After I jerked off.

Im trying to make it through Money Heist. It's a good show, but frustrating. It's a show originally done in Spanish, but they've overdubbed it with English. It's just annoying when the lip movements dont match the words being spoken. So a lot of emotional context is lost. Good story though, if way over the top

I started Altered Carbon season 2. Good shit so far. FFO Bladerunner type shit

Looks like I gotta check out Norsemen. I don't know why I always skip over it.

Edit: Just noticed that it's a comedy?! Interesting...

I'm finally crawling out from under my rock and watching Breaking Bad. I just finished Season 2 last night. Good stuff.

Finished s2 of Narcos Mexico. Always good.

Now watching Cobra Kai. Cheesy, bad acting, and reminds me of innocent days. I dig it.

Yeah, it is. I'm not much into comedy myself, but this one is so 'retarded' and stupidly cool - they're not trying too hard and it's a huge trolling over all 'badass' viking movies (hi, Vikings).

I actually love comedy. I just had no idea that this was one. I can get down with that.

Who doesn't like comedy? Shiiiiit, kick back and have some fun once in a while, Alina. ;)

Aww, Ken!
Well, I don't mind comedy movies, but tv shows - not sure. Although I loved Arrested Development, at least first seasons, I only discovered it recently.
But to be completely honest - with all the dark music, dark intellectual books, movies, and the whole nine yards of bs happening in the world lately... i might feel a little overdosed with serious stuff and comedy (if its a good quality one) does seem ok every now and again.

Just chiming in here to say that I fucking love Cobra Kai. I think I'm just about halfway through the first season and the show is really surprising me by how good it actually is. I went in with expectations pretty low but yeah, it's a fun watch.

Exactly. It's a lot of fun, especially for children of the 80's. I love the non-PC Johnny Lawrence character and the stuff he says

"God, just looking at you makes me feel like a virgin.”

“…I see losers, I see nerds… I see a fat kid with a funny hat with his tits poppin’ out.”

“Don’t give me this sexist bullshit, alright. I’m just saying women aren’t meant to fight. They have tiny hollow bones.”

“Drowning’s for pussies. Don’t be a pussy.”

"They say I’m on the spectrum”
Johnny: “I don’t know what that is, but get off it”

Anyone else watch American Gods? Im about to finish up season 1. This is engrossing and an apt metaphor for our times. Highly recommended

I loved season 1 of American Gods, but season 2 episodes were real up or down for me. Some were completely useless, but then one in particular was some of the best TV I can ever remember watching. It's a little weird compared to the book, but still works since it became its own thing instead of just an interpretation.

I'm looking forward to the next season of The Mandalorian. To me that was the only non-original-trilogy Star Wars that really, really got things right. I suppose Rogue One did mostly as well. Prequels were crap. Sequels... enjoyable, but forgettable.
