UFOs

One time I was looking up at the sky with a few friends. We happened to be looking in the right area to see a bright object light up as if it were exploding, then slowly fall. Beforehand, we hadn't seen anything moving in the area, so we told people we saw a star drop out of the sky. To this day I wonder what it was.

Dude, I grew up in NY, near Pine Bush.

Go ahead and google Pine Bush and UFO and see what comes up.

I MIGHT have... who the fuck knows.

But I didnt hear anything about some TX sighting... link?

had seen weird things, had dreams of being abducted, dreams like feel so real, and not im not paranoid or something like that, but feels really weird

Well, I don't buy into the whole "aliens from deep space" thing, as Einstein's theory of Relativity has a nasty way of annihilating that fantasy. Space is awfully big for practical insterstellar travel.

However, I do believe in empirical evidence. Take a look at these:

UFO simply means "unidentified." These contrails were not made by a conventional jet engine. Chances are whatever left these was in an awfully big hurry.

I'm a believer.
I've been wanting to start this thread since I joined but never had the balls.
I can't say for sure that I ever saw anything... probably not.
I have dreamt of abduction once and have had many dreams of aliens but that is probably just from my fascination with them. Also The Bermuda and Devils Triangle, Atlantis and the Atztec & Mayan culture with their observations of the stars and their calendar intrigue me. I'm always looking for programs on TV about them. The Discovery channel and the History channel often show them.

So what did you see GGI?
Oz - Is that a personal pic?

Supposedly worm holes in space act as a time travel mechanism making long distances shorter.

Those aren't stars, they're GALAXYS!!!
Simply amazing...

Nope. The original one was published in Aviation weekly. I'm surprised you haven't heard of it if you watch the History Channel a lot. I really dig those sort of programs as well.

About wormholes, yes, it's possible. Of course, nobody has spotted one anywhere near the Sol system, so "possible" but "unlikely."
Same for time travel: Hawking put it best: Yes, it's mathematically possible. But have you ever met anyone from the future?

Believe me, I really want to live to see the day when extra-terrestrial life is discovered. Wether it be in the oceans of Europa or through radio astronomy, it would be incredible. But I've no patience for fairy tales.

Worm holes are nothing but random guesses of sci-fi writers that haven't been directly dismissed. Anyone who uses the phrases 'alternate dimension' (translation: a new left), 'worm holes' (translation: magical box we can't actually explain), 'flux capacitor' (translation: also a magic box we can't actually explain), or 'time travel' (translation: plot device for poor writers) is to be shot.

I used to lie on top of the car with the wife and watch for satellites. One night, we saw one go from horizon to horizon in less than 10 seconds.
:OMG:

Very cool indeed. One night, I saw two very bright lights in close proximity cross the sky in about 3 minutes... I checked the NASA site & sure enough, it was the space shuttle detached from the ISS.... it was going to land in a few hours.

...on another note, on haloween night a few years ago, there were many local calls of a UFO sighting. Sure enough it was the ISS. What a bunch of dumbfucks.

The trick with viewing the ISS is it has to be right after sunset or just before sunrise in order to see it. ...it has to catch the sunlight. Couple that with the fact that you need clear weather & it has to be orbiting over you at just the right time, & sightings are pretty rare. Seeing it together with a space shuttle... man... that was very cool.

''unidentified flying object''

lol sorry
i was in Milten Keynes after playing a gig at some shitty venue and my manager spotted three lights in the sky in a perfect triangle, after about 30 seconds of watching they all moved slightly to the left then vanished. we were all confused as hell and by this time everyone in the beer garden was looking .. and then they appeared again, but a bit closer and further to the left for about 10 seconds then disappeared. never saw them again...

we have no idea what it was.. i also seen various other things when i was younger that i can not explain, like things moving across my hallway floor alone and a figure with huge eyes and a massive wide smile outside my window. i was so scared i couldn't make a noise, and no they weren't dreams. lol

I once dreampt I had an anal probe. The dream was strangely real to the point where I wondering if it had actually happened. I told a mate about it and hed actually taken a picture of me while I was having the dream......

Jeff

all great truths begin as blasphemies.

but then again.... might be lost on you, there, eh pal?

They may begin as blasphemies but they soon gather evidence and begin working with other great truths. Those were just pulled out of people's asses.

LMAO !!! Obviously you were enjoying it...

Nothing special here, it happens, not all satellites are geostationary. Now if you tell me it changed directions very quickly that's something else... ;)
