Hey guys, this is my break out of lurkdom so go easy.

What do you think about the new UK Thrash scene? I.e. Bands like Evile, Sekhmet, Heretic, Gama Bomb and Seregon?

There's a fair amount of variation between the bands, in that you have your cookie cutter Thrash bands (albeit good ones) and the more innovative bands. Personally I think it's got enough good bands to take an interest in, and seems like a viable counterpart to the current US scene.

:kickass:

I don't know of any that I would describe as "good," to be honest. Gama Bomb is okay, that's about it. Evile is competent, but stale and boring. I'm not familiar with the other names you mentioned though.

Check them out, a lot of bands have debut albums coming out this year/next year.

Sekhmet's debut was released this week, Warpath's will be out next year as will Gama Bomb's.

I could put up some myspace links if you wanted.

Please supply myspace/webpage links if you've got them.

Sure man, here's a few of the more popular ones.

I don't think the scene has really hit America yet but it's getting bigger by the day.

These band's really aren't anything special. Especially when you compare them to what Corrupt from Sweden is putting out now.
