For a few parts on the first track, totaling no more than a minute of time, Garm attempts some deep, soulful folk-type vocals. It's off-key and clearly well beyond Garm's range, so it comes off sounding like Swedish Chef attempting a Norwegian war chant. I think that's the only part of the album where the vocals are like that, so it's not enough to ruin the album; the rest of the vocals are just atmospheric chanting, which works much better.
