Hello my friends, I decided to post here the evolution of this big project for my small studio in Brasil.
I hope you enjoy this jorney with me.
Cheers!!!
In 2008, we built our home studio, that lead to a tiny Control Room and a Small Control Room:
It was so unconfortable...
The mixes were so bad, and also the monitoring, because modal problems of small rooms.
We had good treatment, but that was not sufficient.
Well, the guy next door sold us his room, so we decided that was time to get a real good designer this time. We contact John Sayers himself, but he was so scheduled that he couldn't start our project until june. (we contacted him september, last year.)
John Sayers indicated Glenn Staton to make our project. His schedules were better, so we contracted his services. More info:

As the initial parts of the project were done:
and
we started to put the old walls down:
And cleaned all the mess:
Then the design was done, and it resulted in some (small) studio porn 3D models:
Control Room:
Live Room:
Vocal Booth:
It still will be a small studio, but not that tiny anymore. I'm so happy that more than 3 people will be confortable in the Control Room at the same time (though, it was good to have an excuse to kick other band's members from guitar/bass/vocal tracking ).
This week we started the building itself. First HVAC and then wall insulation. I'll add more pics later.
Cheers
