The insulation is good as hell. Snare drums and Kick drums can't be heard when doors are closed!

to answer the question on the side wall absorbers - no, they are not Helmholtz Resonators (sealed) units. the slats keep more HF energy going and make it diffusive.

Indeed. But sounds 2x better than unsoffit. Actually it was PITA to get the wood shape correctly

Dude in overall how much did this cost?

Well, labor in Brasil is quite cheap, so we went about 700 dollars a month here. (about 6 months building) = 4200 USD.
Material wise it was not that cheap. A lot of materials are expensive arround, like rock wool, MLV, etc. Although wood is pretty cheap here.
HVAC was about 4K too.
The project cost us 4.500 USD.
We didnt counted the remaining price of materials, just bought =) (thats why we spent more time building).
