wow thanks man...that's pretty amazing company we're keeping in your 'already' list. I'm flattered and humbled.

Got it 3 days ago and it's been on constant repeat ever since man... listening to it right now. Amazing job on this!

The best way I can describe you guys is either the bastard son of Opeth and My Dying Bride or the best doom metal band out of North America. Geeze, I was all hyped up on Novembers Doom before this - completely crushes it! LOL

Got a question though... Any idea on the signal chain for the guitars? They sound so good! Sound very Peavey to me, standard 5150/XXX mix? What pickups/effects/mics, bychance? Thanks!

Rio Grande Blood is BADASS! Disintegrate is pretty good.
Yup, I've been listening to both for a few months now ;) Just waiting for them to be released already ;)

Personal 2006 favorite releases so far:

Devin Townsend - Synchestra
Scar Symmetry - Pitch Black Progress
Amorphis - Eclipse
Satyricon - Now, Diabolical

It's a shame the new Evergrey is so damn simple and dull.

Well, I dig that new Evergrey, although I miss their proggy side...
New Rage is good, but not on par with previous releases. I hope that's not a start of a downhill, but just a little bump... ;)
New Jorn CD is killer, awesome stuff! None of his first 3 albums grabbed me like that! :worship:

But the release I eagerly await is the new Riot. I'll keep my fingers crossed they fish a fine deal for themselves...

oh man, I love Muse...great stuff. Different from metal, and it's good to have that variety I think.

I'm looking forward to ZAO's new CD "The Fear is what keeps us here." They're one of the bands that got me into metal so I've been a fan of them for a long time.

Muse Rules !!!!

Have heard Synchestra and Pitch Black Progress and both are excellent albums. I am sure the other two are good as well. Scar Symmetry broadened their sound a little bit with the new album, imo.

Meshuggah man, they'll blow everything away, can't wait for that one!!!!
It won't be out until 2007. They are spending this whole year just writing new songs, they have no intentions of releasing it this year. According to them, it will be more of a traditional album in the way of DEI/Chaosphere: 4-6 minute songs, not a single long song.

Listen to the German version of "Full Moon" and die of laughing (if you're able to understand German! :goggly: )!

You got it. ESP something-or-other w/ 81bridge/85neck. 2 tracks each of the 5150 and XXX. Jens (the mixer) handled all of the fx so I'm not sure what he used.
Thanks again...very flattering.

Since I've already heard the new TooL, the new LOG is very much extremely mega uber high on my anticipation chart. That is probably my most looking forward to release. The Morton/Adler brothers team is molten metal fiyah.

Oh.. and of course, the new Kool Keith joint - Mr. Nogatco. =)
