Those guys are ridiculous musicians. The rythym tone on that album is pretty raw and dry IMO but there lead tone and writing skills completely make up for it
dont believe tha hype.
Paramore - Riot { ... ha ha}
Opeth - Blackwater Park
Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Breathing
Brand New - Deja Entendu
What the fuck does WIIE mean.
Killswitch Engage - Alive Or Just Breathing
AOJB is a CLUTCH ass call. I can't fucking believe I didn't think of that. Strike of BTBAM and put this in it's place.
That album changed my life man, can't forget it!
And an "alterate" 3, since these are just as eligible:
In Flames - Clayman
Soilwork - A Predator's Portrait
Opeth - GR
Oh man is this hard, since at least half of my all-time favorite albums came out after 2000! These 3 had an especially large influence on me as a guitarist and music-lover though:
Children of Bodom - Follow the Reaper
Sonata Arctica - Silence
Behemoth - Demigod (or the Apostasy, still can't decide which is my favorite musically, though production-wise is another story, even if probably everyone disagrees with me )
Also, I think you and I are the only two people who think the production on The Apostasy is some of the greatest ever.
