here is my first post, and with me, i bring the confimred tour dates........its a small tour, but i think they will also tour for Damnation too..........tickets are onsale soon, if not already..............enjoy...... i cant wait for NYC!!



The complete itinerary for the "4 Absent Friends Tour", featuring OPETH, LACUNA COIL, PARADISE LOST and TAPPING THE VEIN, has been released.

Presented by Guitar World, the trek — named after a track on OPETH's recent album "Deliverance" — will feature the Swedish band in the headlining slot, with main support coming from LACUNA COIL. PARADISE LOST and TAPPING THE VEIN will open the proceeding every night.

"4 Absent Friends Tour" dates are as follows:

hmmm....the dates on the MFN site are completely different....for instance, the SF show says that it's on February 1 or 2 and they are playing at the Pound not Slim's....so....I won't believe anything until I see an announcement on the website and tickets on sale...

edit: and I was wrong....the date for the SF show is the same...just differing venues...The same thing happened last tour (venues and dates were changed at least 2 or 3 times before the final confirmation)....that's why I'm being so skeptical...

Well - I will check on the venue site when tickets go on sale there and buy them. Either way, if they sell me the tickets and the dates changes (hopefully not venue), I should still be all set

I wouldn't put too much stock in it until you see it on band's sites or in ticketmaster as I know the arizona date can't be guaranteed as none of the promoters seemed willing to take a chance on the guarantee asked by the bands .

Yes, hopefully they'll come closer when they tour for Damnation.

I'll be at the Chicago show on the 27th if all goes according to plan. I can't wait.

I would have to say this is a pretty piss poor fucking touring schedule. So many cities skipped right the fuck over. I am not impressed, only 13 shows on American soil? WEAK ASS SHIT!
