V:The New Mythology Suite?¿?¿?

Hey I was just reading the 1st few posts in this thread and thought i'd go into a bit more detail about the whole Dies Irae thing. This is actually a 16th century hymn that was supposedly created by a guy called Thomas of Celano. So yeh it started out just being sung in church and stuff then composers started doing their own versions of it. Mozart, Berlioz, and Verdi made well known versions of it, but I've only heard the mozart version (which is pretty damn impressive), and other composers such as Liszt and Rachmaninov have used parts of it in one or two of their songs as well. With that in mind i'd say that for Symphony X to use it as well isn't really that outrageous, lol. They've done a brilliant job with it and it definately lives up to the reputation of the other versions.....though in a much smaller sorta way i u know what i mean.

I'd be interested in any version of it.

P.S. On the pics thread, I'd said how I finally ordered me a digital camera! I also ordered a book about Atlantis along with it!
