I know that i prolly shouldnt ask this question on the SX boards but anywho....
In Dante's Inferno, what is chanted after "Pluutus holds the key!!!1"?
I know its latin but im just wondering what exactly they are chanting and what it means.

dont know latin sorry  .. and ok darklyrics doesnt know either.. tell ya what though.. the lyrics are incredible.. you dont appreciate a song fully until you read them.. and that goes for all songs.

but anyway that was my effort..

It doesn't mean anything. Schaffer just made up a bunch of evil sounding words for Matt to chant...

And yes, that song is pure badass...

Read "The Divine Comedy" if you want to hear the story that inspired the lyrics...

ive read dante's inferno but havnt read the ENTIRE tragedy. ill more than likely read the other two parts soon.I hear that the inferno is the best part of the tragedy any ways.

Correction, its a comedy... not a tragedy ;). About your initial request, I could not find the words that were spoken. I don't own any iced earth stuff so I can't really hear it. If someone will post the words, I'm sure it has to be some language. Surely it must mean something.

yes comedy scuse me.

im guessing the lyrics are an excerpt from The Inferno in the traditional language.
I just wanna know really bad so i can chant that creepy shit at my boss.

cant someone at least TRY to decipher it?
Ok , we know its something creepy so ill try to translate it quick.

"Zine cope sa te dice"--------> I r ..... Eat you fetus

"Zana na despote zina oco sa sepate"-------> Crunchy fetus.... tastes like weenus.

now that is absolutely CREEPY!!!!!@!11

This was asked on the Iced Earth boards and yes Schaffer just looked through a latin dictionary, found a few cool words, creating his own when he couldn't link them together properly, and then voila! we have the beginning of Dantes Inferno.

he said in some interviews that he did that a lot with the fake latin or just random words. the beginning of damien is another example of random words and phrases. if i remember correctly, some do have meaning, but mostly just random/made up words.
