Seriously though, there's no point in writing a long song for the sake of writing a long song. That's just being musically pretentious. I've heard so many band's long songs which would be so much better if they stripped them down a little.

five keyboard solos an oboe, and a Irish harp/tin whistle duet.
I'd like to hear a 45+ minute evile song that's really a bunch of independent songs that lead into each other and fit together.

Arite I got the album and yeah its good. It makes a lot more sense as an album. And I can forgive the vocals they really work as part of the whole. Pleased with that one.

Forget about any other albums for now, get yourself at least one album by Destruction, Kreator and Sodom the next time you buy a bunch or you will be ejected from the Earth to Venus where you will discover the meaning of pain. There should be plenty of recommendations to help you at the start of your recommendations thread. But just to help you:
Destruction - It really has to be the Infernal Overkill/Eternal Devastation double pack. Two cds for the price of one. Two albums and two EPs, can't go wrong.
Kreator - Coma Of Souls
Sodom - Better Off Dead or Sodom

Yeah man, I needa get my hands on the album and a shirt too. Whoever uploads the remaining tracks to youtube (namely Forests of Legend) will have my undying love forever.
I have M-16 by Sodom, but thats about it for Teutonic Thrash....
