in that catogory, i immediately thought
James Cameron's Avatar and the 3 Transformers movies
seriously, just forget about how Avatar wouldn't have even been written if James Cameron hadn't seen that movie Ferngully, and ignore the fact that the 50-foot-tall robots actually talk
Avatar's planet Pandora and the 50-foot-tall shiny robots demolishing Chicago's skyscrapers are visually awesome
