You're talking about a normal person. I think that guy made it clear that he was not a normal guy.

And I actually didn't want him to get banned anyway. He was a troll but had a different trolling method; namely being against EVERYTHING but at least trying to justify his "opinions" (I'm sure they were all for the sake of making people mad) with arguments etc.
 
I think Vuashke's only mistake was that he couldn't let go. He kept restating his opinion even when it was annoying other people. His view on things is pretty different from other people's views, which can be refreshing, irritating, or annoying at times, but that wasn't the problem. He's probably right that Cliff wasn't that good on bass, technically, but that's beside the point. Many musicians in the rock world aren't that good on their instruments, many jazz and classical musicians are better, but Cliff/Metallica simply meant something to a lot of people and Vuashke just couldn't get that point.

Well by definition he wasn't really a troll, despite the fact that he's provoked massive shitstorm arguments ever since registering. Trolls troll for the sake of trolling - and Vuashke actually thought he was right. Despite poking at just the right sore spots on every thread he wanted to corrupt, he truly put his heart into his own dumbfuckery. That he could make it to 1k+ posts means he was really good at dodging the limelight, despite the fact that he pulled off in his first 100 posts what most of the fools Samsara bans couldn't have ever hoped to get away with. Half of me agrees with SerenityNow and Bluesky, that we should close this thread and let his name die out... and the other half thinks we need a reminder to be able to identify a Vuashke when we see one.
 
It's amazing the amount of shit this one guy managed to stir up. Definitely one for the books. I honestly don't think I've seen one person create such a shit storm. I'm also surprised he hasn't already signed up again, he posted like 20+ posts a day, I wonder what he will do with his time now :lol:.
 
Yes, we should definitely close this thread. He's probably lurking as a visitor right now, following this thread, and LOVING it! It seems this thread is evolvong into a tribute of sorts, or an ode to Vuashke.

....but I know it may never end. oh well...
