well, what about the DT nametags?

it's not a tiny city, there are like 1,500 000 ppl here :err:

I've never worn a nametag though, don't see the point, I'm recogniseable to everyone I want to be recognised by

I've never printed one off, but if I knew fellow forumers were gonna be about it might be a good conversation starter... so I would wear it.

I can't see why it would be embarasing really... if you wore it on a lace around your neck people might just think you're part of the bands crew. No matter what it'd be a laugh.

hm, if some mayor event is about to happen where other forum members might show up, i guess i'd rather start a thread about it and set up a meeting point or such. personally i wouldn't look after those tags if i were on a concert, and probably quite a few (most?) people won't do that as well, so i see no real point in publicly stating that i'm a member of a board that everyone in the world can join.

i think some actually thought of both organizing the meeting and wearing the tags. maybe to recognize each other, or in case they get drunk and nearsighted all of a sudden. ;) i wore my tag in one such occasion. it felt good, and not the tiniest bit geeky.

ok, it did feel geeky.

all of these references to being near-sighted are making me squint now. :p

seriously, for a second i wondered whether i'd ever seen a DT nametag with my own name on it. then i remembered one has to write it.

Kindergarden play costume? Ignorant fuck, that's the spanish inquisition! But you're excused, no one expects the spanish inquisition ;)

@misanthrope: HA! Gotcha! GOTCHA! You are definitely something, jabbering constantly about good movies, books, etc. etc. - AND YOU DONT RECOGNIZE TERRY GILLIAM??? You cheap lame fucking necrobobsledder! You wipe your stupid hypocritical eyes (as you unwisely suggested to me elsewhere), copy that? And to that number, my birthday is quite close, you know, you can make me a nice little thread full of your buggery - I hope youll figure out the date, or you wont?

@Taliesin: pretty fucking unexpected, huh? Misanthrope OWNED (by Terry of course). :D

Btw. this made my weekend.
