Loads of gimps at my school were listening to some emo band and I asked them if they liked bodom and they were all like "yeah" and then I just said good and put on mind revolution. They were begging to know what the album was called (thinkin it was bodom) in the end I said this aint bodom its skyfire. They were all like "Who?????". and now i think they worship SF!!! and rightfully so. skyfire are like bodom but more interesting to listen to with better ideas and cooler songs, but alexia laiho (dont know if thats how you pronounce it) is one of the most METAL mother fookers Ive seen with my own eyes, he has such amazing presence on stage.

The thing about Bodom fans is that since they're one of the more popular bands out there, they attract both a good deal of cool people and jackasses, and then the jackass crowd gets the cool people to not stand out, since part of being a jackass is being loud and obnoxious, they drown out the cool people. So it seems like all Bodom fans suck.

damn emofaggs . skyfire is more serious music I think, without the crazy pantera-like solo's , waaay more melodic. and the keyboards rule.

I don't mean to generalize, but most CoB fans do suck. They're the biggest fanboys I've ever seen. I had many unpleasant encounters with people on the CoB board but we get along pretty well now.

I don't think Bodom is that popular, at least not out here. I'm like one of the only people i've ever met who knew who they were. Bodom is definitely my alltime favorite but skyfire is good as well. The thing i think i like more about Bodom is that there is more structure to songs whereas skyfire sometimes meanders more (not a bad thing at all), and i bet some of you guys definitely like that more. Hey where can i find these song clips off the new album?

Yeah I agree with you guys about Bodom, and about their fans. It was great when they started invading this forum and we gave them the boot! Get out, and stay out!
It would suck for Skyfire fans to be grouped with the Bodom fans.. the band already gets compared to CoB enough !

Well unfortunately they do heh. Luckily Skyfire has a little more epic edge to their music so it may not attract the "OMFGLJDSF NEEDLED24/7 ALL DYASDF!111"

The epicness is pretty darn cool. That is one of the many reasons I enjoy teh Skyfire. Mind Revolution was a little bit more..progressive-y epic-y while Timeless Departure was more power metal-y epic-y. It is my sincere hope that they mix the two in the new CD, for then life would be ultrasweet.
