The Opeth tour bus broke down.
The Dark Tranquility tour bus broke down.
Devil Driver started playing late ... and was delaying and playing extra songs because DT and Opeth weren't even there.
And I can't say I'm a fan of DD's music.

At one point DD announce that DT wouldn't even be playing!! I was enraged!

After DD finished, you could tell they were rushing to set up the stage, and the curtains opened to reveal DT! :kickass:

After the first song, they announced they would only be playing 3 songs total!

They ended up getting 4 songs in ... but man it was a total shame. Both guitars ended up cutting out 3 times during those 4 songs.

While leaving the show, I saw most of DT getting drunk at the bar, I don't blame them!

Oh well. Hopefully they'll be stopping by again sometime soon!

Oh, that sucks! :(
At least you saw them play a bit... Which 4 songs did they play?

Someone else would have to answer that question. I remember them playing The New Build and closing with Lost to Apathy ... I can't reemember the other songs for the life of me. I was actually shocked to not hear The Final Resistance at least.

Opeth played fine. Too bad there wasn't enough DT :(

But hey, got my DT autographs after all the troubles and stalking the backdoor. Thanks for coming, hopefuly next time DT will be the lead band :)

@plinty: i wouldn't let them actually step on my tail, so there'd be no slippering. I would rather slap them with it. :D

That sucks =s
Hope you get the chance to see them some other time!

they played:
wonders at your feet
lost to apathy
the new build
my negation

sigh...a lot of mess up on sounds, but at least i'm glad i got to meet them after the show.

@Siren: oh, you just want to slappppp people!!! :D And it's Plinypoo :loco:

My guess is that show can be "among the worst 5 shows ever in our 17-year old career" :ill: Yuk, those RVs sucked :(

And my guess is that this tour must be "among the 3 most adventurous tours in our 17-year old career".
