What Amps Do You Own???

I could have sworn it was modded, but I can't find anything about it, so I guess I'll wipe that off my want list haha, as the only difference I can find is that it uses 6550 power tubes and not EL34's.

I hate to blaspheme in the house of Sneap but this is a better set of amps than Andy's. :yow:

 Too bad the sound I get from them isn't as good as Andy's

And too bad I don't have access to great players as Andy does to take advantage of all amps :)

What's the difference between any other marshall?

Due to the 6550s the Zakk Wylde is more aggressive than a regular JCM800, I like it!!! Great tone
And it is a Limited Edition, if that matters:rolleyes:

I've always wanted to try one of those Zakk Wylde amps. I was a huge Zakk Wylde fanboy back in the day...

:)

I still use a ZW-44 to boost my Recto instead of a tubescreamer like everyone else.

Ive got Celestion coming over on the 23rd for a bit of a speaker shootout. We are going to reamp through 16 different speakers so they can have comparisons on their website. Marshall, when they were doing this mustaine cab were talking about celestion voicing the V30s differently, so I need to find out what they've done because in theory this looks very similar to the Randall cabs I have but if definitely sounds more focused and tighter.
Not that the Randalls sound bad at all.

Any word when this will hit the Celestion website? The V30 tone they currently have up is definitely not a Sneap tone, unless you were very high when they came by for the shootout! The playing/riff is pretty atrocious, especially considering it's the example of a V30 "metal" tone. It's funny imagining you sitting there in a wife beater and sweatpants, with a cigarette in your mouth, playing that riff for the Celestion guys
