Good comparison this. Got a Bugera 333 recently and so was interested in hearing the xxx. They pretty much nailed it.

Do you mean that the 333 pretty much sounds the same as the xxx?

Yes usually around 3-4. It is a loud bastard. So much louder then the triple x hehe

Gotta remember that the XXX has the active eq, so needs alot of headroom built into the circuit to stop things from clipping before it hits the poweramp. For maximum volume you'd need to crank the master volume, channel volume, fx loop send & return AND all of the EQ's.
