Alright, I usually don't stoop to this but COME ON. Signs!? Scary!? I was LAUGHING for a good portion of that movie. It was fucking awful. I honestly can't believe how many people like that movie, and how critics said it was so great (although critics will say just about anything is great). I feel like I'm in a Twilight Zone where shitty movies are proclaimed great by all.

This is a good summation of the movie: http://maddox.xmission.com/signs.html

Anyway, some of my favourite movies:

The Shawshank Redemption
Dogma
American Beauty
American History X
Memento
The Big Lebowski (best comedy ever)
And some others I can't think of right now.

Than the Ring? Now way! How? You been abducted?
lol.gif

My fav's are:
1.The Matrix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2.Star Wars 4,5,6
3.Dune
4.The Lord of the Rings
5.The Hobbit
6 .Batman

Any good SciFi. Any good Mob story. The Godfather I, II

***Les Miserable*** --+Hamlet+--

007 from the beginning to now. Love 'em!

Cirque Du Soleil I have on DVD are GREAT! I've seen Quidam live, and I'm going to see Dralion this Month.

The Tom Clancy Novels to screen of Jack Ryan like Red October, and so on. I love those kind.

And of course I love any good drama/suspense film.

And the movies that play a part for sentimental reasons(good)Topgun(me and my fathers favourite movie since I was a child, he took his life last year due to depression and the wrong meds) The Never Ending Story because it changed my life. I began to read more and more because of that movie. And Titanic for reasons I will omit.

I don't know what the hell is happening with LotR. The books are one of my faves, but come on, the movie sucks!!!
Elijah Wood is IMO the worst chosen actor in the history of movies. Gandalf is the half he was on the book, Merry and Pippin (specially) are HUGELY overrated, the BLack Knights are horrible, and the orcs suck. Also it is extremely "hollywood" (read ala Pearl Harbor)
But, if you leave aside the fact that it is LotR, it is pretty decent.
Anyone agrees with me?
