Eating leftover barley rissoto from class, its fairly amazing.

Class has been ruined by the latest South Park Episode.
Almost every dish we do involvs deglazing, and the guy next to me just mutters "yeah, oh fuck yeah, deglaze the shit out of this pan."
Oiling a pan, deglazing, using shallots in a sauce, all of it is ruined.

Watching Quentin Tarantino movies just makes me want to watch all the movies he got his ideas from.

You have to check out 'Not Quite Hollywood' and the movies it references. Tarantino's a big fan of shlocky Australian movies of the 70's & 80's.
