Yeah The day after Thanksgiving (the Friday before last). The funeral's this morning, I can't imagine it'll go well.

in any other place people take that long to bury the dead? i mean here we usually bury in the same day, or the next one tops, and after 7 days there is a mass

i find it weird to take that long

It's usually only a couple of days, after that the body starts to look...well...dead. But he was stationed near Atlanta, Georgia (about a 20 hour drive) and the military wanted to perform an autopsy before they shipped him, so it was a ten day process in all.
