What are you guys using to get your bass grit these days?

Just used the Mr Hector for a bass reamp session. Disgusting. Reminded me of the Chaosphere days. The Rectifier-style amps always create the best outright bass distortion. The bass rigs and pedals tend to be best for clang and moderate drive.

Jazz Bass + PSA1 + SVT .... never should ANYTHING else be used ...LOL

It is interesting to me that people are saying sansamp in here. I have never liked the dirt on that thing.

For me it's a small ampeg and a dirt pedal of choice (DS-1, Ibby Tube King, Modded bluesdriver).

Loren have you actually used the PSA1 and not the BDDI? I am NOT a fan of the BDDI AT ALL!
