Testament - The Formation of Damnation!

Badass CD in all aspects!

Bought that one yesterday, I'm not the biggest fan of theirs but 'The Gathering' kicked ass, so I figured its follow-up album (which took them long enough to release) wouldn't be too bad.

Hell yeah, "The Gathering" is easily one of the best albums I've ever heard, but "The Formation of Damnation" actually topped it in my eyes.

I got sick of Chuck's death vocals after a while where "The Gathering" was concerned, so this new album has just the perfect amount in it.

Demonic was an awesome album Two words... JOHN DOE! I actually have the album autographed by Chuck and Eric Peterson.

Burnt Offerings is one of the best power/thrash metal albums of all time, after Night of the Stormrider it solidified my place as an IE fan

Haha, you are correct, "Demonic" is indeed, not one of my favorite Testament albums I do like certain songs, Together as One has always been my favorite were "Demonic" was concerned.

Burnt Offerings is another really kick ass album, but then again I love anything Iced Earth.

I don't think it's that unknown or that underrated. I think Warrel Dane is a very well known singer in the metal community and most people that love Nevermore will at least know that he has a solo album out. The album is really really great, I love it. And I've seen the same opinions stated by a lot of different persons, so it's not really underrated I think.

Also, I'm not that familiar with the Sanctuary material but I find PttWM sounds nothing like it.
