what aren't you listening to right now?

I'm NOT listening to Yngwie Malmsteen because his music bores the crap out of me. He made a breakthrough album. He then proceeded to copy it over and over again.

^Actually, I was being a smart ass, as I know what you meant (just a joke). But the first time I heard the name Akercocke mentioned, it was in a growling thread. Someone said sound like you and don't try to imitate Akercocke. I thought they were some Mike from Opeth hater and were making fun of his name. To this day I am still suprised there is actually a band by the name Akercocke. What were they thinking when they named the band? I just can't take that name seriously.

no if he said anything to that effect it would have been about "Helter Skelter"

Nope, he claimed Ticket to Ride was. Also, it was released in 1964, as compared to Helter Skelter being released in 1968, at a time when many heavier bands like The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Cream were already around.

hahaha, i remember i sent my friend an akercocke video and he saved it on his fathers comp, and when his father went on hes like "akercocke..whats this porno?" but its alot funnier considering hes a stoner who has a heavy russian accent lol

I'm not listening to the sound of the ocean, since its more than a phew miles away from me.

Edit:look at my incredibly clever alternate spelling of few.

I'm not listening to Pantera. They were one of the first metal bands I was introduced to, and with all due respect to the late Dimebag, I could never see what everyone else seemed to see in them.
