I also want to see them pretty bad. The last time I saw them when they opened for Helloween (Chicago) their was a scheduling conflict and they hit the stage pretty late. They only got to perform three songs before having to wrap it up.
I can't remember all of the details, but I do think you are right, and that was part of the problem. In talking with the band after the show I think they said they were told to arrive at the venue at the wrong time as well.

that was funny as hell, just the way he said it with a high voice to. Plus the guy was like 50 years old or something.
Seeing Iced Earth would be killer ... I've been ruling them out because of their recording schedule and whatnot.
That was dissapointing. I knew some of the material going in, but wasn't able to get fired up for things I didn't know .. mainly because they were a bunch of statues in the live setting.
