And for how long/how good are you?

Vocals count.

I would have made this a poll, but there are too many possible options.

I don't play anything. I played Piano for like 4-5 years when I was much younger, but that's all in the past.

What do YOU play?

PYRO werent u gonna start on guitar?

And me ive had the guitar for close to 18 months but hardly play anything. I would be able to play some tunes, but i need to practice a lot, and most of those tunes would be of low to medium skill for alot of the advanced guys on here. For example, i cna play the first minute of NO MORE LIES by maiden, took me abit to learn, but some people would look at it and go "for fucks sake EASY!". Anyways, all i really wanted was to be able to grab the guitar when i wanted, and play a few tunes for half an hour when i felt like it. I can do that now, and it makes me feel awesome. Of course i want to get better, once i reach Bens level i will be MORE THAN HAPPY!

Guitar - I'm decent. Got a lot ahead of me though.

I can play bass, drums, keyboard/piano and recorder (lolz) half decent aswell. Bass I can play properly with fingers and other techniques like slapping and popping, but I never play these instruments unless I'm jamming with people for fun.

I am getting singing lessons now at uni, so I would consider myself a BACKING vocalist in Pandora. No way could I handle big lead vocal parts.. lol

Guitar - I would consider myself a pretty decent guitarist however with Scott's underwhelming description of himself then I would probably disagree :( haha.

Vocals - Do quite a bit of singing, few little problems in my range but reasonably good power, range and control wise.

Keys - I am a fucking n00b but I just use it for melody and chord construction.

Yes. Technically I have too, but as has been the case ever since I had enough income to buy my own guitar (before that, I had time but no money and my parents couldn't afford to buy me an axe), I have a severe lack of time to invest in learning. My biggest achievement so far is an almost decent callous on my index finger.

Having a guitar will allow me to gain some grounding before the time comes when I can actually take the time to learn, but in the mean time, "I don't play".
