What do you think of Alexi's guitar tone?

He kept the Floyd, Inlays, Ebony Fingerboard, Maple Neck-Thru, Alder Body, same electronics other than using a single humbucker at the bridge and only using a volume knob for it (getting rid of the tone knob).

Edit: He got rid of the pick guard as well.

So yes, it's basically a custom version of the RR1.

The distortion was horrendous. Ale had a very good tone in that concert. His tone was best on HB.

His tone pretty much sucks, but fits the overall sound of his music perfectly. It's not like he's a solo artist where guitar tone is super important.

Dno but my guess at a FtR type tone is low bass (3-5) and high mids, treble, gain and presence (7-10).

Alexi's guitar tone is the perfect tone for playing Metal. There's only one way I think his tone can possibly improve and that's i he got a neck pickup for playing solos. Neck pickup always sounds better for solos.
