I saw the youtube video of him doing it live when he won, it was horrible. He was offkey most of the song, screwed up harmonies, etc.

At least Solinger can pull off the country thing sounding decent and with class. Bach just ain't country.

And for the record, beyond a bit of J. Cash, I don't like country. But I've heard enough of it second hand to know what works and what doesn't with the genre, and Bach definitely doesn't work.

I hold it for 50 seconds straight, must be a new record. I don't like country and even if Bach sounds good I think it's not his turf, kinda like Lemmy singing classic opera.

If he'd lose the cowboy hat and quit waving around it'd be a lot less annoying. The song is better than the video IMO.
