What is this forum restriction garbage?

If you'll turn your attention to the top of this page, you'll notice that the forum search feature has also been disabled. It seems that viewing message history is a mode of forum-searching, and that's exactly what was causing a lot of the slowdowns on UM. So it has been temporarily disabled until something better comes along.

What do you think the members are doing now? Aren't they rehearsing somewhere, Mikael wrote most of the stuff, and Lopez comes by and listens to it and see's how his limbs move to it, I would guess. The guitars and bass can be talked about.
I really hope Lopez has some kind of new shit for this album! I mean, he's probably going to keep his same style, since it is HIS style. Hmm, i'm so excited. New beats and technicalities to discuss, criticize, and learn to jam them out. Does anybody know how lopez comes up with various beats, polyrhythms? Besides the way most drummers do it, and the way i do it; just listen to a riff and play. a lot of the time i push myself to the limit and try to come up with things i've never heard, at least. sometimes i "play the riff" and sometimes i'll just have a simple groove so people can headbang. can't forget about the most simple beat ever, bass snare bass snare, etc. it makes some sections better sometimes. With all this said, I wonder how Lopez approaches an album recording mentally, and physically as well.
