What is your favorate Console RPG??

I love Console RPG's.

Of the above, I'd pick Baldur's Gate, which did a good job of closely following the original AD&D rules.

However, I highly recommend adding Neverwinter Nights to this list. Fuborc, if you haven't picked it up yet, I highly recommend it. The 3rd edition rules take a little bit to get us3ed to if you've played AD&D for a long time, but it's a great game. And with the ability to create your own adventures, have somebody Dungeon Master them, and download adventures made by other players, this is a game you could be playing for many years to come!

nafnikufesin, Thanks man, I've played Baldur's Gate and I can't figure out what to do next. I'll check out Neverwinter Nights.

BTW, That is a "Thorn" or þ, not a b, I know it is confusing, that is why it is no longer used in English. It's pronounced "Th".

Pencil and paper was where I got my start to, which is why I throwing in the plug for Neverwinter Nights again. Right now, it's the closest thing to a pencil and paper game, because you can actually have someone be an online DM and make up the adventure on the fly, have personal interactions instead of some prescripted dialogue, etc. It isn't perfect (yet) but it's the best I've seen so far!

I am waiting to play neverwinter,right now I am playing pool of radiance,which is quite good because it's adjusted to the rules of 3rd edition.not perfect but quite good.I can't wait to play neverwinter.and I can't wait to play D&D again(next week)

Baldur's Gate was superb for PS2. I was completely addicted to that game. Now I'm anxiously awaiting (and crossing fingers) that the sequel also makes the leap from PC to console...

was dragon warrior the one from capcom where you could get an archer,a warrior a dwarf and a mage? that one was good.
did you ever play: dungeons and dragons shadow over mystara. that was only on arcade but it was amazing

my favourite console rpg is Skies Of Arcadia on the Dreamcast, which isn't in the poll so i'm not gonna vote in it. However, i loved Baldur's Gate on the PC. never played it on a console, but i've seen it. Looks good, but totally different from the PC version....

RPG's are almost the only video games I play... Don't spend much time of them anymore. FF rules though... How far we've come from Dragon Warrior... heh.

Sorry, I love Zelda, but I consider it more of an Adventure game then an RPG.
