What other music do you listen to??
My list:

Ane Brun
Beck
Blur
The Zutons
Calexico
After Forever
Led Zeppelin
Radiohead
Chemical Brothers
Fatboy slim
Basement Jaxx

Other as opposed to what? Opeth, or metal in general?

If outside of Opeth, there's plenty of other bands.

If outside of metal, then there's a few here and there, namely:

Aphex Twin
Portishead
Massive Attack
Raison D'etre
Tenhi
Assorted videogame music
etc. etc.

I could list a hundred bands... well, I'll think of some kind of a top ten...

(in alphabetic order)
At the Drive-In
Kate Bush
Camel
The Mars Volta
Mr. Bungle
Pain of Salvation
Radiohead
Tool
Ulver
Van der Graaf Generator

Nick Drake

Some of my other favorites are:

Dimmu Borgir

my top 10:

Opeth
Tool
Emperor
Neurosis
Enslaved
Arcturus
Between the Buried and Me
Acid Bath
Behemoth
Death

I listen to everything metal/rock from extreme to post rock. Pretty open minded to many different styles.

Ikil

Peter Gabriel
The Cure
Genesis (Gabriel-era)
John Lee Hooker
Dr. John
Rush
David Bowie
Placebo
Jethro Tull

That's all I can think of at the moment, actually. Though I have to admit I don't own many non-metal releases, the bands listed are the ones I enjoy listening to most outside of metal.

I was a prog rock fan before I found metal, so lots of the 70s stuff:

I love the late romantic through early 20th century style of classical music, especially:
Tchaikovsky
Mahler
Brahms
Bartok

As for metal, I prefer black over anything else, but I've recently been drooling over the doom drone genre, mainly all of Stephen O'Malley's projects: Sunn O))), Khanate, Thorr's Hammer, etc...
