Has anybody heard Dream Theater's A Dramatic Turn of Events VINYL version?

The cd version sounds compressed (imo) and a bit hot on the mastering. I was wondering if the sound quality improves on the vinyl. It maybe the exact same master the engineer used for vinyl pressing, but I was just wondering about the sound.

Arch Matheos is such an amazing cd.....can't stop playing it.
After 5 attentive listens, I gave up hope on Opeth's Heritage. I still like many of the ideas on the album, as well as their new direction, but I still maintain that it's poorly written and quite boring , for the most part.

I took a listen to "Road salt 1" to see what all the hype was about and I could definately say that it is far from being a style that I would listen to. It has its merits, it's unique, and it has some very good musicianship and ideas...but the stellar reviews kind of surprise me.

If "Road Salt 2" is terrible, according to Ken, all I could say is ......."ouch".

Hmmm... I'm sad, but I'm still going to pick up RS2. I'm sure I'll enjoy it, since I enjoyed the first... I hope the next album is a return to the days of Perfect Element.
