What records do you think need a proper reissue? SOUND OFF!

I'd be interested to know more about this if you are able to dig up more info.

Also, I've been trying to chase down Mekong Delta discs for years, but they seem to be perpetually OOP (and/or very expensive to import from overseas).

Any word of recent or upcoming reissues that are readily available in the US?

Matt

If I know anything, it's about the Mekong Delta reissues, having dealt directly with Ralph Hubert (or whoever he's calling himself), and he has all of the albums for sale at his own web site.

The entire catalog was remixed/reissued in 2006(?) by AFM Records. Once those copies sold out, Ralph H. decided to reissue those same remaster's on his own AAARRGGHH! Records label. Problem is, the ones he put out are very cheap looking. And expensive. But, you can get them at the link above....

The debut release from Krankenstein in 1990 really got the ball rolling for this USA based metal band. Tracks like ‘One Foot in the Grave’ and ‘Sudden Death’ quickly gained popularity & helped catapult the band into international recognition. Next album included more progressive 'old school' thrash elements...

Krankenstein? Haha, I give them props for the name :) What is it, any good?

Well, if you like well executed, professional sounding old school Power/Thrash with a singer that sounds a bit like Ian Gillan, you might like it. :Smug:

I have no choice but to provide you with a download link to both of their albums as there are no youtube tracks as far as I've seen.

I do know this band is still active :headbang:

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere in this thread, but I just came across Finland's Antidote, and it's some pretty solid sounding thrash. Has anyone ever looked into reissuing "The Truth"?

I did. :D
I'd be really happy to see their discography available again...

Some days ago I tried to order the "Harsh Realities" reissue from Grooves Inc., but looks like it isn't available yet... why doesn't Metal Blade advertise at all its reissues?

What a terrible cover. Ugh. hopefully the EP isn't from vinyl, either. DVD will probably blow like all the rest they have done. Not sure I am going to kick out the bucks for it since I already own the STELLAR Lost & Found reissue of Breaking Point.

That L&F reissue of "Breaking..." is rad. I'm going to illegally download this new version first, before I buy it. "Sorry, Metal Blade Records. It's YOUR fault that we do it...":fu:

Don't feel like making a new thread and since I mentioned them here before, Outrage has a new album coming out June 6th! Here's a clip of a new song:
