I dunno...a closed sticky thread seems a little pointless. I mean, threads should be open for comments, especially if n00bs have an opinion to offer on an RC recommendation.

I viewed it as an RC starters kit for n00bs. I thought that was always it's intention.

Since many of the bands/albums on the list are frequently discussed, there should be evidence throughout the forum..."___ was so right! SOLD!" or "I bought this album on ___'s recommendation..." and other signs of conversion...

Really? I haven't seen any evidence of this yet.

If someone's going to make a comment based on a recommendation, it's going to be in the same thread where the recommendation was made.

I have no problem re-sticking it -- I'm actually surprised anyone even noticed to be honest -- but shouldn't it be opened now?
