Agreed Demilich, that's the impression I got as well, and that's why it was surprising to me that all it turned out to be was another little thread for shits and giggles. Hey, there's nothing wrong with that at all, I just never would've have been even remotely close to caring or being as serious as I was about it on any level had I realized that in the first place.

Ali - you're totally misreading me here. Now that I know it was never meant to be a serious thread to begin with, I'm totally fine with it not being a sticky. It was a misunderstanding on my part - my bad. That's all I'm saying.

I have to say, having that thread as a sticky is a bad idea. I don't know... a closed sticky thread seems a little pointless. I mean, threads should be open for comments, especially if n00bs have an opinion to offer on an RC recommendation. After all, opinions change as do forum browsers, so the thread inherently cannot be a constant. For instance, if we did the exact same polls today (with the same bands), the results would be different so the list really isn't definitive until the end of time or anything.
