Do opeth have an album which is kinda in between those two? One that has it's mellow/harmonic parts and also its metal parts?

every opeth album has mellow parts and heavy parts, including my arms your hearse...but check out blackwater park, that is a good mid point.

^ like he said, every album has both metal and accoustic parts. every album is fantastic. but if i were you, i'd pick up Still Life next.

and my advice is to get ALL the albums!!!
i started w/ BWP and just couldn't get enough...
