yeah, they suck. And not some kind of *cool* 1963 style either...I dont even know what you'd call it: typical mid-century Americana, I suppose. Let me put it this way, before we did some remodeling, the house had a bona fide den with the fake wood paneling, brass fireplace cover, sliding pocket doors leading into the kitchen, the works. Tbh, the cabinets were probably pretty nice at the time...custom sized for the place, probably built on site, solid pine. But by today's standards...horrible.
