What's the last CD you listened to?

Cool, will listen in a minute.

Post thoughts at your leisure, so I didn't bother for nothing, ya know... :p

Love Lies Bleeding - S.I.N.
vastly underrated (because too un-original) sympho BM. The chick on the cover has exactly the same face as a fellow student I almost dated

The vocalist doesn't sound terribly unlike Toby Driver, methinks. "I Turn My Face..." is simply amazing, absolutely chilling vibes, a field in late November. The other is more upbeat in some ways, dark and bluesy. Need more listens, but I will likely be buying this.

I just got both halves of maudlin of the Well's double album in the mail (bloody fast shipping from Dark Symphonies to the UK) and I'm working my way through it. First impressions are good.

Some of the clean vocal parts sound a little goofy since when you can perfectly hear what he's saying the lyrics tend to come across as a little too self-consciously 'out-there' for my liking, but other than that I've no complaints. I think overall I prefer the Leaving Your Body Map half, though judging it after one listen is a bit dumb.
