There's a lot of anti-left wing rhetoric being thrown around this forum and I'm very curious as to why. Also this idea that being a 'liberal' equates you with being a terrorist is a bit baffling. Somehow being tolerant of other religions, sexual orientations, leaving it up to a woman to decide what she does with her own body, and not wanting to bomb the fuck out of poorer countries is the same as being someone who pilots a plane into a building killing 3000 people. And theres all this 'liberty' bullshit that Americans always seem to go on about ad nausem I don't know if you are forgetting the word 'liberal' grew out of the term 'liberty', meaning freedom.

After viewing the shit on the forum it's funny that some Americans ask themselves 'Why do they hate us so much?'. Take a look at yourselves for a second. You could be doing more with yourself then saying 'I WANT ALL MUSLIMS TO DIE' on an internet forum.

The problem I have with modern libs is the flawed logic they continue to spout. Appeasement with our enemies for one. They just don't understand that there are people out in the world who want us dead. Who want to destroy Americans and our way of life and will use any means to do it. Libs want us to be "tolerant" of others who are in no way going to show the same respect in return. On the abortion topic, I am sick of hearing the selfish excuse "It's my body I can do what I want". Well, It my be your body but as far as I'm concerned what is growing inside you is not you. It is another life. I don't base this on any religious belief like some do but I do think it is a self centered view. If you are going to play the game, you better be prepared to live with the results.
Bomb the fuck out of poorer countries? First off, Iraq is far from being a poor country. Not when they are sitting on top of one of the largest oil fields in the region. My problem mostly has to do with presentation of ideas. I'm tired of hearing only leftist idealism in the media and having right-wingers called extremists.

How come it wasn't until George W. became president that SUDDENLY we had to hear the Democrat rebuttal every time he made a speech? I never heard Newt or Hastert make a televised rebuttal after Bill Clinton's speeches. Nor did I hear Jim Wright make a televised rebuttal to Reagan's speech. Those guys' rebuttals could be found in next morning's paper. But the media extremism is so great that they have to counter the hated George W. immediately, not the next morning.

Too much demagoguery in the "mainstream" so that's why I like to come here and FUCKIN vent! I wanna be a fuckin demogogue, sometimes!

It presents the media as a massive left-wing network hellbent on bringing the president down and accuses everything on these stations (CNN, the BBC, CBS, etc) as being propaganda. This gives them an excuse for controlling FauxNews, the American Al Jazeera, which lets maniacs like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell have a voice.

They claim to support fiscal responsibility when the GOP squandered the biggest surplus in history because of out-of-control spending over the course of two years. Everything that's helpful to people- welfare, health care, stem cell research, etc, they despise because they think it's socialist to help the people out. Oh but they have no problem blowing billions on the Star Wars program though.

They claim to be conservative (as in keeping tradition) despite the fact they want to modify the constitution to suit their "Christian" morals. They accuse the left of being radicals when they themselves want to mold and shape America into something that's suitable for them. I can't think of a more radical act in recent memory than the Patriot Act. Our founding fathers would be rolling in their graves if they knew the shit that Bush's cronies were pulling.

To quote Slayer, never has anyone seen such a rise of pure hypocrisy. The right thrives off of it and whenever someone calls them out they accuse them of being anti-American. So why all the hate for the left? Because the right hates the fact that they're wrong on so many issues today.

My country has been subjected to terrorism also in Bali, 2002. 88 Australians were killed in a bomb blast at a nightclub. More then the amount of people who died in London. Most of them were young football players over there on holiday and it's known that Australians were specifically targeted. I am angry at terrorists themselves for that and for the London blasts. But I don't hate all muslims for it. Hating an entire ethnic group for the actions of the few is a weak and easy kneejerk response. I do however, hate the terrorists as much as the religious right, who are no better, if not worse.

If western leaders recognised that, then terrorism could be beaten. Okay, this is just my little rant about my own party(DEMS). I usually have been keeping quite in the political threads but I just want to throw a little something in here. The one reason why I am for abortion is not because of the whole "It's the womans body, they can do whatever they want with it." The reason why I am for abortion is because I look at it as population control. Think about it. If a woman is so callous that she is willing to kill her own unborn child then what makes you think she is going to raise it right? Thats all this world needs is more dumb melonheaded mutherfuckers that weren't raised right.

If I got my girl pregnant would I want her to have an abortion? Fuck no. I am willing to take responsibilty for my actions and I would be more than happy to take care of the kid and instill sensible values into it. Also, don't give me the whole "let the government take the child" bit either. Foster care is just as bad of breeding grounds for criminals than if it was raised by a woman with 17 kids and a meth habit. Adoption rarely works because it is such a long process that most kids never get the chance to be placed in a "good family environment". Another thing, if a woman gets more than 1 abortion, they should not allowed to be having ANY kids(certain things excluded...like rape. No woman should ever be forced to have a child that was produced criminally). Woman who use abortion as a form of birth control should be not be allowed to have children......PERIOD. If they cannot value the gift of life then they should not be allowed to keep popping more kids out, because it is obvious they are extremely irresponsible and they don't give two shits about the well being of any child.

Since we are that subject, another problem with my party is that we are all for abortion, yet we want to keep psycho path murdering motherfuckers alive. It doesn't make any sense. We are willing to let woman get rid of their unwanted children, but we don't want to hurt a criminals feelings by deciding they should die after they have destroyed someones elses life and familiy(ie's) FUCK THAT I embrace murderers getting the death penalty(one of the few things that I agree with on the conservative side). You should also pay the ultimate price when you decide to do the most unfathomable(sic?) thing another human being can do...which is kill another person.

As far as people being gay. I don't give a flying fuck about where you park your peepee or if you are a carpet muncher. Just don't make me have to take a different route to work because all the roads are shut down for their little parades. Just so that they can blast techno and dance around in adult diapers while on some float. Gas is too expensive and my time is money. MMKAY? I must say that I never really have taken a stance on abortion, either pro or con I don't know why but I think it's because I have never really considered it to be my business....Like you said "It's her body" But after reading that Hatred, I must say I think you may have made me lean towards Pro Choice....And it's not too easy to get me to pick sides on a topic like this....but your rant makes serious sense in my opinion both logically & morally....And I know from previous discussions that you're PRO 2ND AMENDMENT....And that's one of my main issues as those of you who know me already know.
