9. Stratovarius - Visions
10.Edge of Sanity - Crimson
:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

hmm, this isn't in order, but anyways, off the top of my head:

Opeth - Still Life
Tool - Aenima
Enslaved - Monumension
Katatonia - Dance Of December Souls
Neurosis - A Sun That Never Sets
Taake - Doedskvad
Emperor - Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk
Between The Buried and Me - Alaska
Acid Bath - Paegan Terrorism Tactics
Shining - Livets Andhallplats

The first 5 are permanent fixtures, and will remain (at some place) in my top 10 for the forseeable future.

The Who - Who's Next
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Manowar - Louder than Hell
Guns 'n Roses - Appetite for Destruction
The Offspring - Ixnay on the Hombre

These 5 may well move in and out of my top 10 at different points.

Emperor - Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk
Faith No More - Album of the Year
Led Zeppelin - III
Oasis - (What the Story) Morning Glory
Opeth - My Arms Your Hearse

I'm sligtly annoyed there isn't much mellow acoustic stuff in there, Dylan often makes an entry into the 10, as do Simon and Garfunkle. to tell you the truth i really can't make a top 10, a top 20 would probably be believeble. Eitherway these would be in any top 20.

I tell ya, that album comes very very close to being a top 10 fave of mine. The very first album I ever bought just over 10 years ago. First band I really got into big time. Brilliant album.

See by the same token, that's the very reason Ixnay on Hombre makes and apperance in the 10, The Offspring were the first band I ever really really loved, and still do.

Like I say a top 10 simply isn't do-able I mean I've missed out the likes of Thin Lizzy, Queen, etc.

Same man, trying to choose a top 10 out of over 500 cds isnt easy. Imagine how some of the other guys are going here who have more than that.
