Yes XBOX Live is one the XBOX's redeeming qualities I will admit that. I would rather play better games that aren't online, though.spawn said:This is also forgetting that the XBOX can be played online as well.
That because most local shops don't stock many GC games. Alot of the ones on my list you would have trouble finding to purchase because shops don't stock them, but can be bought from DVDCrave.com etc. Also, because there is so many crap third party multiplatform games released, along with all the good ones, of course a large percentage of games for any given console are available across the board. Nintendo still has more quality exclusives though, and I am not talking about brilliant games (althought the XBOX doesn't have any more brilliant exclusive games than the GC anyway), I am talking about above par, quality games.spawn said:The GC has 4 brilliant exclusive titles. Thats it. You mustnt look very hard when you go to the store to buy games as 75 percent of GC titles are available on other systems.
Actually it is a cross between MGS1 and 2, combining story lines and all the best bits from both games. You were the one who said MGS was such a brilliant game, I just mentioned that Nintendo are taking that and making it even better.spawn said:The MGS on the GC is a remake of the first MG game with a few new bits. How original and refreshing to have better graphics on a Playstation game. Almost smells like Resident Evil to me, new graphics on a last generation Playstation game, then try and sell it as a new game because there are a couple of new areas.
Half Life is not available on the XBOX (I have it on the PS2 and Metroid Prime kills it anyway), and only Deus Ex 2 is available on the XBOX, which I hear is shitty anyway, and again I am sure I would prefer Metroid Prime.spawn said:You already went on and on about how most of the XBOX games are pc ports, id take Deus Ex and Half Life (is half life on XBOX? It must be...?) on XBOX over Metroid Prime, in spite of the controller, which you can just buy a replacement one thats better anyway.
Yeh, SOA is one of those games. The deeper you get into the game, the tighter the grip it has on you. I've lost many hours of slep playing that game. And Viewtiful Joe had that exact same effect on me. Have you played it yet?Blitzkrieg said:Wicked Child: you sure did dude! SOA just keeps getting better! A few others in your top ten that would probably make up my top ten to fifteen as well (Super Mario Bros. 3, Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night, Viewtiful Joe and Megaman X).
Another of my favourites that just misses out on the top 5 is Bubble Bobble. Best arcade game ever.
