Which COB album should i listen to first?

I started with Hatebreeder(early morning Spanish class ) then Hate Crew Deathroll, then Follow the Reaper then Something Wild

a bit strange,but effective.

HCDR is the 'real' bodom, but it's too raw and boring for most. Not very 'mystical' except for Angels Don't Kill.

I like it better than AYDY because of the kick-ass solos. The solos on AYDY aren't as compelling, though I do like their dissonant edge.

No it is'nt. The 'real bodom' sound is most expressed in the first three albums. HCDR and AYDY are a strange new version of bodom.

Well, if you ask to Alexi and the other guys, maybe they would say that it's not true... and maybe I would agree with that, but only cause I'd say that a band's "real sound" is what they feel to play, to feel good with theirselves and so on...
But for "real Bodom" sound we mean just the former CoB's sound, right?
Well, it's a matter of different points of view, sure, but... I agree with you on this: that particular sound who made CoB famous and rendered people to appreciate their unique music so much all over the world was really the sound of their first three albums... undeniable.
And I say this despite liking "Are You Dead Yet?" album, but... but I'm the same person who would love a back to the first CoB's style.

Alexi says that HCDR is Bodom's "real" sound but i like they the way they sounded back then better.
