3, 7 & 10 All look fucking awesome. Yea and Wacken too, but I cant think of year I havent really wanted to go to Wacken though. Maryland Death Fest's lineup is a little weak so far this year IMO, but its still early:

Necrophagist, Demilich, Machetazo, Butcher ABC, Sanity's Dawn, Cliteater, Rompeprop, Yacoepsae, Engorged, Municipal Waste, Gorgasm, Burnt by the Sun, Embalmer, Yacoepsae, Cenotaph, Total Fucking Destruction, Beneath the Massacre, Elecrto Quarterstaff.

I know, we get lots of tours come through, so sure, there's always a plethora of shows to choose from, but there's just something about the summer festival circuit in Europe that fucking rules.

Not to mention 70% of the bands that play the festivals will never ever play Stateside.

These two have the best lineups, but I'll go with Atarfe Vega Rock for best variety overall so far. That festival looks amazing. LOL @ Twister Sister BTW.

Ragnarok looks like Heathen Crusade II, Rock Hard is shaping up nicely, and Metal Mania has Anathema and Nevermore going for it...I'd attend all three if I could.

Sweden Rock 2004 was hands down the best festival I ever attended. Amazing and varied lineup, great food, great merch, great fans, great location made this one a winner.

You are really lucky. I wanted to go to Sweden Rock for years, but either i found another festival that had even 2 bands that interested me more (Headway 2004 for example), or i spent money in many concerts here. Their choice of bands is incredible, classic bands that still kick ass and rarely play live shows, and special "new" bands.

Absolutely - it was killer to be able to see classic rock bands like Montrose, April Wine, even Heart along with followed by ultra heavy bands like Testament, Hirax, Entombed, Nifelheim, then bands like Europe, The Scopions, etc. Here was the complete lineup:
