Which one is more folky? Still Life or BWP?

Hmmm... interesting question. Can't say I've ever thought about it. My gut instinct is to say Sl is folkier (I'm hearing the acoustic bits in The Moor, sounds pretty folky to me). But then....BWP does have a very folky vibe...
Let me think about this....

Still Life. The acoustic bits on the first two songs of that album are probably Opeth's folkiest parts. Blackwater Park has a few folky passages but not many that really come out and FOLK to me.

From Orchid through Ghost Reveries each album looses some folk and gets some prog imo. Still Life.

I definitely agree with this 100% altho I might say Still Life is a bit more folky than MYAH.

I'd say Blackwater Park had a much proggier feel than Still Life. The acoustic passages in Still Life have a definite folk feel to them whilst in Blackwater Park have a more atmospheric 70s prog feel. After Blackwater Park I'd say the folk influence was practically gone.

I'd say that one part in "The Moor" where he goes "Oooo-ooo-ooo" in the extended quiet part would be the definition of what I consider folk personally. Some others may think differently
