Reverend Bizarre's cover of Burzum's Dunkelheit is one of the greatest covers of all-time?! S-P-L-E-N-D-I-D ! ! !

I'm not even into covers to be quite honest, but this one through the years has gotten me to like it a lot more than the actual Burzum version.

4 out of 4 :kickass::kickass::kickass::kickass: agree.

this cover is not very guut ... nobody does freakign creepy like Burzum.

this here cover is child's play I tell ya ... child's play

Noone, they made Burzum sound good. They also did that to a Beherit song when they played it live here ("Gates of Nananana" or something).

I think the Beherit track will be released on a split or something.

I don't think I've ever listened to this song because I just skiped it because I don't like covers. What a great cover; I love the way that they keep the original theme of the song, but go about it a completely different way. Kind of like Slayer's Dissident Aggressor.

Honestly, I was never apeshit over this cover. I generally don't really care for cross-genre covers. It's good, but I don't think it's amazing, and I think that they drag it out too much.

BTW the song is called "Burzum" not "Dunkelheit."/elitist </emoticon>

Revbiz haven't really done a bad cover imo. Dark World is also a great cover though it isn't as interesting because both bands play the same style so nothing really new.
I think The Gate of Nanna > Dunkelheit mainly because The Gate of Nanna is a better song, but the Dunkelheit cover rules too.

Best cover ever is ofcourse Sigrblot - Commie Scum though. ;)
