Who else feels the 70's prog thing when listening to Deliverance?

well the influences steve wilson had on opeth are VERY apparent in deliverance, some bits sound more PTish than Oish

Floyd, Gentle Giant, Genesis... that's it guys, obviously quite a few of us hear it. I think Mikael really loves the 70's thing, which is great.

I hear it too... Me likes it... Mainly in A Fair Judgement, but the feel is there throughout the album... I wouldn't have difficulty hearing AFJ on a Floyd album or something similar (minus the heavier parts, granted...)

Side Note: Semi-unrelated - Do the clean vocals on AFJ remind anybody else of Tori Amos? I don't know why I hear it, but I do... Coincidence, I'm sure...
