Why is the production so terrible for early black metal albums

I can really imagine this guy awake in bed, staring at the ceiling for hours, mumbling "I hate Demiurge, I hate Demiurge, I hate Demiurge..."

A.nick is the incarnation of irony, I can appreciate that.
 I don't hate you, I don't even dislike you in the slightest, but you've got an interesting if inaccurate imagination.

I think it's kind of funny how these topics are still being made with the typical (or even stereotypical) "omg raw producshun sux y du bandz hav it y y y" post inside them. It's a matter of preference.

Oh, and I find it funny that you people actually talk to each other like you know each other personally. Half of the people here are probably the exact opposite in real life and just get a kick out of bein ironic/stupid/funny on the Internet.

I agree on all points.

Hatred is foolish, if not overrated. Demiurge just(to me) happens to exlempify and epitomize one with the elitist mentality, and one who proceeds to insult another in a different forum for failing to accept their point of view. Many mistake elitism with snobbery. Being a snob sucks, but there really is no moral dilemma involved. Elitists actually believe themselves to be better than a conceived 'rabble' of average people. I see a big problem with that. It's mostly a psychological condition, if you ask me.

Some people believe this, but choose not to share it. GoD is one of those, if I'm not mistaken. I bet he thinks he's better than the average knuckledragger, but he sure does a good job of keeping it from the rest of us.

I find the last few posts amusing. Even more so that metal itself has a built in elitism. By mocking Korn and similar bands you admit that they suck, AND what you listen to is superior. I can and shall also infer that you believe Korn should perhaps not even be considered metal (some do of course). Laughing at Korn, Slipknot etc is elitism. Isn't it somewhat hypocritical to slander elitests?

Please clarify.

No, I just happen to dislike Korn's music. Slipknot's cool, though.

They are cool but you mock them anyway? :err: The whole joke of a DJ and 17th drummer seems like an obvious Slipknot mock (not to forget all the other similar rip off bands that come under nu-metal or w/e). Besides. I dont see many classifying them under worthwhile metal, even by Death metal fans. *shock*

Sculpted Cold, I wasn't referring to you. Though I seldom agree with your perspective, I don't find you to to be an annoying, hypocritical dimwit, which is exactly what Anonymousnick is. Furthermore, he really needs to change his title to "Trollbait."

A psychological condition is exactly what you have. Aside from your profound retardation, you have a terrible inferiority complex. I recall how we argued over a death album. After there was nothing left to say, and I was clearly not reading this forum you dragged the topic up to claim that you won. You constantly talk about me, as if to remind yourself that I suck and appease that intellectual insecurity. You need to attack people who "think they're better than me", then you have the stupidity to claim that the root of their problem is an inferiority complex. I do not pity you, but I recognize that you are pathetic.

I'm honest, not congenial. If that offends you, tough shit.

Quite interesting that you're the one who usually resorts to childish and pedantic "insults" to try and prove your superiority in a situation. That, coupled with the verbose, pseudo-intellectual flowering of your language, is just a little tired at this point. You seem to bring back the Death discussion a bit. I, being uninformed of your past history, assumed that you'd never really been challenged in a debate before. My bumping of the thread was my personal 'rubbing it in.' I'd gotten the vibe that you'd stated your opinion as fact and were then plugging your ears going "nanananabooboo." If that bothers you so much, I apologize. Forum necromancy's a bad habit of mine. I do bring your name up quite a bit, yes. You're one of the few real elitists I've met. People like DiscipleofPlato and LuminousAether and GoD are commonly perceived as elitists, but they're really just cool guys with occasionally unpopular opinions. You seem to pass off every word you type as stone-cold fact.

I never asked you to be congenial. You may be honest, but you're severely lacking in tact. That's the difference between coming off as a geniunely honest person and an insufferable asshole. Congeniality has nothing to do with it. It's just called being polite.
